Bhilai. Angered by the report of the assault, a man tried to burn his nephew alive. The accused had sprinkled petrol on his nephew. But, he could burn it. Before that he ran away from there. After pouring petrol, his right ear, right eye and face started burning. The victim youth has again lodged an FIR against his uncle in Nandini police station.
Police said that the complainant, Domendra Sahu, resident of Bhathapara Godhi, tried to burn him alive by pouring petrol on him at 9 am on Wednesday morning. A day before the incident, the accused uncle had assaulted the complainant. For which an FIR was lodged with him in Nandini police station. Angered by the registration of the FIR, the accused tried to burn his nephew by pouring petrol on him.
Mangalsutra and chain crossed from purse of a woman who went busted
A woman who went to get clothes in a boutique located in Gandhi Chowk of Durg became a victim of theft. She went to the trial room after liking the cloth. Meanwhile, some unknown accused stole the jewellery. On the complaint of the incident, the Durg Kotwali police started the investigation by registering an FIR against the unknown accused. Police said that the complainant Manisha Jain, a resident of Khandelwal Colony Durg, had gone to Jain Boutique at Gandhi Chowk Durg to buy clothes at 7.30 pm on the night of February 28. She had also taken her purse.
In which he had kept his mangalsutra and a gold chain. After liking the clothes in the boutique, she went to the trial room to see her wearing it. The purse was kept on the table outside the trial room. After about seven minutes she came out of the trial room and went home after buying clothes. After going home, he saw that the mangalsutra and chain kept in the purse were missing.
