Whatever development works are going on, keep them completely corruption free. Quality and timely completion of those works should also be ensured. Similarly, there should be no discrimination against anyone in law and order. The complainant should get justice on time and there should be no room for doubt for anyone. Administration and police officers have given these guidelines by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. CM Yogi was reviewing law and order and development projects by holding a mandal-level meeting in Gorakhpur Commissionerate Auditorium on Sunday. In the meeting that lasted for about three hours, the Chief Minister while explaining the timeliness of development projects bluntly said that if the works are completed on time, then there will be no need to revise the estimates. The work should be done on time, in a transparent manner and of quality. For this, a nodal officer must be nominated in each project. He said that no complaint should be received in any scheme. Strict action will be taken against the concerned if any complaint or negligence is confirmed. During the meeting, the district magistrates of all the districts of the division gave presentations regarding the progress of development programs of their respective districts and law and order by the police officers.
deal strictly with criminals
While reviewing the law and order situation, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that criminals should be dealt with strictly. Along with adequate arrangements for drinking water, seating etc. for the people coming to the police stations, their complaints should be heard sensitively. Unnecessary items lying in police stations should be disposed of as per rules. Police patrolling should be systematically carried forward. Patriotic tunes should be played by police bands at martyr sites/tourist sites once a week.
Get the dams repaired before the rain
CM Yogi said that all the preparations related to flood rescue should be completed before time. The public should not have to suffer any kind of damage, so that the sensitive dams must be repaired before the rains. He also warned the officers that the situation of water logging should not be seen in the metropolis during the rainy season. For this, complete the cleaning of drains and other necessary work ahead of time.
Establish better communication with public representatives
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also directed the officers to have a meeting with the public representatives at least once in a month to establish better communication with them. It should also be ensured that the phones of public representatives are properly attended and they get proper response.
It is the responsibility of all of us to live up to the trust of the public.
CM Yogi said that we all have a tax obligation to live up to the trust of the public. By being sensitive towards the public, the officers should solve their problems and also ask the applicant about the resolution of the case through telephone. He said that public problems should be resolved on the basis of merit. Everyone has the right to get justice.
Great strength in interdepartmental coordination
CM Yogi said that there is great power in inter-departmental coordination. It is the result of this power that we have been successful in controlling the problem of encephalitis. He said that the power of inter-departmental coordination would also have to be shown in the programs of security, respect and self-reliance of women under Mission Shakti. For this, make a weekly program and solve the cases related to women by setting up a joint chaupal.
Officers-employees should be present in offices on time
The Chief Minister directed that all the officers and their subordinate employees should attend the offices on time and ensure the resolution of public problems. He said that a register of public problems should also be made and the status of disposal should be recorded in it. Along with this, the officers should stay overnight at their place of posting.
No child should be deprived of going to school
During the meeting, the Chief Minister also reviewed the school Chalo campaign district wise. He said that no child should be deprived of going to school. For this, village-village awareness campaign should be conducted. Uniform, shoe-stocking, bag, reading material should be made available to the children enrolled in the schools. During this, CM Yogi also discussed the Operation Kayakalp being run in the Education Department. He laid special emphasis on the beautification of schools under the Kayakalp scheme so that the schools show some innovation.
Protection from all diseases with pure drinking water
The Chief Minister directed the officers to work expeditiously towards providing pure drinking water to all the citizens. He said that cleanliness and pure drinking water can prevent all diseases. The CM said that 75-75 ponds should be constructed by the Municipal Corporation and Gram Panchayats in the district. Under the Amrit Mahotsav, these ponds should be named as Amrit Sarovar.
Make smart village like smart city
The Chief Minister said that on the lines of Smart City, we can work towards Smart Village. For this, villages should be selected and by developing necessary facilities there, they should be developed as smart villages.
There should be no inconvenience in the movement of people
CM Yogi said that the officials of the administration and police should ensure that there is no inconvenience in the movement of citizens. To get rid of the problem of jam, it is necessary that people follow the rules of traffic. People should be made aware about this. During this, he also learned about the construction work of Gorakhpur-Sonauli, Nausad-Padleganj, Gorakhpur-Varanasi roads. It was directed that the executing agencies should complete the work expeditiously.
Huge potential in the field of tourism
Where did CM Yogi say that there is immense potential in the field of tourism in Gorakhpur division. Large scale employment can also be created by promoting it. Public representatives and officials together can do a lot better in this direction.
Play ground in every gram panchayat
The Chief Minister directed that a playground and a compost pit for solid waste management should be built in every gram panchayat. Due to the compost pit, the waste will not only be disposed of but compost manure will also be available for the fields. The Chief Minister also reviewed the communicable diseases control campaign, Dastak Abhiyan, establishment of secretariat in every gram panchayat, settlement of problems of entrepreneurs, management of street vendors, development of facilities in Musahar, Vantangia settlements, drainage, underground cables etc. gave instructions. The meeting was attended by Rajya Sabha member Jaiprakash Nishad, Bansgaon MP Kamlesh Paswan, District Panchayat President Smt. Two lakh aid money handed over to two deceased dependents
Before the start of the meeting, CM Yogi handed over a check of two lakh rupees each to the two deceased dependent women. Among those receiving assistance from the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund include the wife of a person who died from Corona. The son of the second woman who got help from the CM as a dependent had died of electrocution.
