Mathura. The court of Mathura, UP can give its verdict on the issue of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi and Shahi Idgah Masjid today. Advocates Harishankar Jain, Vishnu Jain and Ranjana Agnihotri have filed applications on behalf of Hindus in the court. Along with this, an appeal has been made to give the Idgah Masjid to the Hindus. At the same time, on behalf of the trust of the temple built next to the birthplace in Mathura, in the 250-year-old case, the matter has to be expressed by holding a press conference.
There is an issue of 13.37 acres of land of Shahi Idgah Masjid in Mathura. The Hindu side claims it as its own. The Hindu side has done 10 cases in this matter in the courts of Mathura. In all these cases it has been claimed that Lord Krishna was born at the site of the mosque. The name of this area is also Katra Keshavarai. It is said that the place where the Idgah Mosque is today, was first built by Vajrabhan, the great-grandson of Lord Krishna. The invaders broke it. Then Maharaja Vikramaditya built a grand temple. He too was broken. Later Veer Singh Bundela got the temple built, then Aurangzeb got it demolished and got the mosque built.
After the last hearing, the court had reserved the verdict in the case. The court will decide today whether the suit of the Hindu side is acceptable or not. The Hindu side has also given a new application to the Senior Division Judge in the past. It has demanded that the original sanctum sanctorum in the Idgah mosque should be sealed. Apart from this, security arrangements should be made in view of the possibility of destruction of ancient Hindu religious icons and artifacts there. Apart from this, there has also been a demand for survey and videography in the mosque. The application will be heard on July 1.
