New Delhi. “Every family, one employment” is the resolve of BJP. It has also been mentioned in the BJP’s Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra-2022 released before the elections. Since coming to power again and becoming the Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath has been expressing his commitment towards this manifesto of the BJP. Self-employment will play the biggest role in fulfilling this resolution. This is the reason why the Chief Minister has a lot of focus on employable courses. This is the intention of the Chief Minister behind the decisions like establishment of Skill University in the state, ITI in every block, expansion of skill training facilities at block level, development of new courses of skill development scheme as per the need of the district concerned. He believes that many of the youth who have acquired theoretical and practical knowledge as per their interest through such courses would like to set up their own venture. The government will help such youth at every level (from providing capital to packing, branding and marketing). By setting up enterprises, they will be able to give employment to themselves as well as other people at the local level. Not only this, such courses will enhance their skills, due to which the cost of their labor will increase due to proficiency in related skills in the country and the world. Increase in price will increase their income, due to which happiness in their life will also increase. Ultimately, its benefit will be available in improving the economy of the state. This will help in taking the state’s economy to one trillion US dollars.
This is the reason that during the presentation of the action plan of the Departments of Education and Youth Welfare before the Council of Ministers on March 21, the Chief Minister directed that the supply of skilled manpower for the operation of industries in Japan and the study of Japanese language should also be arranged for educational institutions in the state. Do it. Education should not only be employment-oriented but according to the market demand of the country and the world, the Chief Minister constantly discusses it. According to his intention, youth will be trained in this regard in future by updating employment-oriented education according to technology, including latest topics like drone technology, Internet of things, cyber security, data science, machine learning. In terms of employment, agriculture and allied food processing sector is the most promising sector. Therefore, in the coming time, agriculture can incorporate many innovations in the field of education. In this regard, the Chief Minister has already directed every Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) to become Centers of Excellence, to set up food processing units in them. He also directed that ITI, Polytechnic and other technical institutions should be linked with ODOP (One District, One Product) and Vishwakarma Shram Samman schemes with contemporary trade. As the education and income of the people increases, in the same order the awareness about the health of the people will also increase. In such a situation, the prospects of the pharma sector will get better. In view of this, institutes of international level Pharmacy and Bio-Engineering Research Institute and School of Planning and Urban Management are to be established in the state. The Chief Minister has directed the concerned officers to prepare a detailed action plan in this regard.
According to the tradition of the interest and sector, the government is taking steps in a phased manner to start employment oriented education from class 9 itself and take it to the level of higher education of different sectors. This is the reason that during the presentation, the Chief Minister urged the higher educational institutions to make special action plans on innovation, quality research, increase enrollment rate, improve the quality of education in universities and colleges, skill development and employable education and ensure action on them. also instructed. Initiative has already been taken in this regard. For example, under the New Education Policy 2020 in six months, skill training will be given to 25,000 students of secondary and higher classes in the first phase. Three job fairs will be organized in 100 days. Keeping in view the needs of the construction sector, in the next six months, more than 10 thousand people will be trained in this sector. In this sequence, IGNOU’s learning center will be established in the state ITI in two years and opportunities for higher education will be provided to the students along with vocational training.
