New Delhi. According to the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the work of Atal Medical University will be completed in the year 2022. With the establishment of a medical college in this, the problems of patients will be reduced and treatment will be available easily. With the operation of this medical college, referral cases will also come down. Medical courses of other medical colleges have been given affiliation with Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical College. Under which 58 of MBBS, 25 of MDMS, DM, MCh, 335 of B.Sc Nursing, 86 of Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, 43 of MSc Nursing and 119 of Paramedical have been given affiliation to other medical colleges for medical courses. The facilities for the students have also increased.
University to be built at a cost of Rs 200 crore
In the first phase of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, affiliation has been given to other medical colleges. Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University is being set up on 50 acres of land in Chak Ganjariya, the construction work of which will be completed by the end of this year. An academic block will also be constructed on 20 acres of land in this university to be built at a cost of about Rs 200 crore. Vice Chancellor Dr AK Singh informed that a grand auditorium will be built in the campus which can seat 2,500 people. Along with this, houses will also be constructed in the campus for the residential arrangement for the Vice-Chancellor, doctors and other officers and employees. The responsibility of these construction works has been given to the Public Works Department.
The way of affiliation of private medical colleges has become easier
With the launch of Atal Medical University, the path of affiliation of Paramedical Colleges, Dental and Nursing colleges along with other private medical colleges of the state has become easier. Through this university, colleges are being given easy affiliation in the first phase. This university is working in the field of affiliation, assessment, admission, enrollment in all these colleges as well as other medical courses.
