UPSC CSE 2023 Cut off : After the final result of Civil Services Examination 2023, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has now also released the cutoff score. By visiting the website of the Commission, both successful and unsuccessful candidates of UPSC Civil Services Examination 2023 can check the cutoff of prelims, mains and final selection.
According to the information given by UPSC, the cutoff for General category in Prelims was 75.41, for EWS 68.02, for OBC 74.75, for SC 59.25 and for ST 47.82. Similarly, in Mains, the cutoff of General category was 741, EWS was 706, OBC was 712, SC was 694 and ST was 692.
ST cutoff was higher than SC
Talking about the cutoff of UPSC final, the cutoff of General category is 953, EWS is 923, OBC is 919, SC is 890 and ST is 891. This year, in the final selection, the cutoff of ST category has been higher than that of SC. Whereas if we talk about Prelims, the cutoff for OBC has been much higher than that of EWS.
List of 1016 selected candidates released
There are a total of 1143 vacancies in UPSC Civil Services Examination 2023. But the Commission has released the list of only 1016 selected candidates. Whereas the result of 355 candidates has been kept provisional. According to UPSC, out of 1016 selected candidates, 664 are men and 352 are women. Let us tell you that the Commission will release the marksheet of the candidates within 15 days from the release of the result.
