Know the paper analysis from the candidates who appeared for UPSC Prelims Exam 2024-
Amit Kumar, Delhi- This year’s paper was a bit difficult, especially due to the increase in the number of dynamic questions, its level was more difficult. There were many questions in General Studies which were related to recent events. Only those people would have been able to solve them who would have been following the news regularly.
Sneha Sharma, Mumbai- The level of the paper was easier than previous years. The static questions were okay, but the dynamic questions really challenged. I think I need to strengthen my knowledge of current affairs a bit more.
Jeevan Singh, Lucknow- I think candidates who read newspapers daily and monthly magazines like Focus and Compass would have benefited from it. This year’s paper has made it clear that UPSC can no longer depend on those who study only from books.
