New Delhi. Underlining the role of educational institutions for road safety, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the rites of following traffic rules should be inculcated in children from the very beginning. He said that training of representatives from basic to universities is necessary regarding traffic rules. Prabhat pheri should be taken out for meeting and awareness in schools with parents also.
On May 18, a dialogue will be held with the public representatives and officials of all the municipal bodies of the state on this action plan. After this the road safety campaign will be launched. He said that special efforts need to be made to make the children studying in basic and secondary schools follow the traffic rules. Principal, principal and university representatives should be trained in relation to traffic rules. School children should take out Prabhat Pheris to make people aware about traffic rules and people should be informed about traffic rules.
Special attention should be given to speed breaker
The Chief Minister has directed to pay special attention to the accidents due to poorly designed speed breakers on the roads. He said that the speed breakers should be as per the prescribed standard and should be painted on the road so that the drivers can pass safely.
Chief Minister Yogi once again clarified that the operation of unfit buses on the road should be stopped at any cost. Buses failing on the standards of fitness should not be allowed to run in any condition.
