New Delhi. The Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, reached the Kedarnath temple premises on Tuesday and inspected the construction works and preparations related to the upcoming Yatra. While inspecting the completed Saraswati Aastha Path in Kedarnath Dham, the Chief Minister directed to complete the Mandakini Aastha Path under construction soon. He also inquired about the construction works of houses and buildings being built in the Pahari style around the Kedarnath complex. He directed to remove the debris and under construction material lying in a chaotic manner around the temple premises and on the main road. Apart from this, he also directed to expedite the quality of construction works along with melting snow. During the inspection, the CM inquired about the workers who were contributing significantly in the construction of Kedar Valley and also directed them to remove all their problems.
Dhami thanked all the workers for their significant contribution in the construction works. Apart from this, taking information about the Kedarnath track, he also talked about speeding up the construction works of rain shelters, staying at different places according to the convenience of the travelers, during the water and rainy season. Chief Minister Shri Dhami also directed to start work on the construction of security wall and railing on the banks of river Mandakini and Saraswati and to develop Vasuki Tal track soon. Talking about this, Chief Minister Shri Dhami said that the construction of Kedar Valley is being done according to the dreams of the Prime Minister of the country, Shri Narendra Modi.
During the inspection, Tourism Secretary Shri Dilip Jawalkar informed Chief Minister Dhami about the construction works that the entrance gate would be constructed for the convenience of the devotees in the temple premises. At present, about 700 workers are employed in the construction of Kedarnath Dham. He further informed that Brahma Kamal water park will also be constructed in Kedar Ghati. During the inspection, MLA Smt. Shaila Rani Rawat, District Magistrate Mayur Dixit, Sub-Collector Yogendra Singh and others were present on the spot.
