Soon Vande Bharat train will start between Khajuraho and Delhi. This was announced by Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav who reached Khajuraho. He said that rake points have been approved in Chhatarpur and Khajuraho. During this, the Railway Minister also told that now there will be no problem in taking train tickets. Now rail tickets can also be taken from 45,000 post offices.
Electrification will be completed by August
During this, the Railway Minister also informed that soon overbridges and underbridges will be constructed at important places. Along with this, he also gave information about the operation of Bharat Gaurav trains like Ramayana Express. He said that for this the electrification work would be completed by August. By then Vande Bharat train will also start running. The Railway Minister also said that while developing this area, full care will be taken of the Prime Minister’s motto, the government is for public service. Significantly, Vande Bharat is a comfortable full AC chair car train. Talking about some of its special features, European style seats, rotating seats in executive class, diffused LED lights, reading lights, automatic exit-entry doors, mini pantry, sensor based interconnecting doors in every coach, etc.
Khajuraho to become a world class station
During this, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav also talked about the redevelopment of Khajuraho station. He said that it would be developed into a world class station. The Union Railway Minister said that the One Station One Product scheme is also being expanded. The motive behind this is that local products can be marketed through stations. 1000 stations are to be covered under this scheme. It will also have Chhatarpur station. Ashwini Vaishnav said that the limestone industry of Panna is also very important and it will be linked with the Railways.
