New Delhi. The decision of Gyanvapi Masjid of Varanasi, which has been in the headlines for the past several days, has come. In the Gyanvapi case, the court, while giving a big decision, has refused to remove the court commissioner and has ordered to finish the survey by May 17. Let us inform that earlier on Wednesday, videographer Vibhash Dubey had claimed that there are idols and marks of Hindu gods and goddesses inside the mosque. After this, once again this matter started gaining momentum. The hearing for this matter was completed in the court on Wednesday. The court has also said in its order that if there is any obstacle in the matter of survey of the mosque, then the administration should take punitive action on it.
Let us tell you, the court had reserved the decision after the hearing yesterday. On the orders of the court, the survey work had started in the past, but the Muslim side had alleged that the court commissioner Ajay Mishra was working unilaterally. The survey team was stopped from entering the mosque. After which the matter again reached the court. On this the court heard both the sides. During the hearing, the judge said that he himself can be a part of the survey proceedings if the need arises.
Today, apart from changing the court commissioner, a new date for the survey will also be decided by the court. During the three-day hearing, the Hindu and Muslim sides agreed that the survey should be conducted under the supervision of the judges. The Hindu side demanded that the court commissioner should be allowed inside the mosque for survey. Apart from this, there was a demand to provide security to the survey team and the lawyers of the Hindu side. The Hindu side has also said that if it is found in the survey that there is evidence of a mosque, then they will back down. Similarly, if the temple’s evidence is found, then the Muslim side should also back down. He has also sought permission from the court to worship Shringar Gauri daily.
After the hearing in the court, the counsel for the Muslim side said that the court commissioner Ajay Mishra was also doing work for which he was not authorized. That’s why we protested. We have put our point in the court under the law. We are ready to accept his decision. Now all eyes are on the court and also on whether the judges themselves become part of the survey team or not.
