At present, the Sensex slipped 110 points at the level of 52,584, while the Nifty is trading at the level of 15,703 by losing 18 points. It is worth noting that in the last trading session, after a day’s trading, both the indices finally closed on the red mark. The BSE Sensex lost 153 points at 52,694, while the NSE Nifty slipped 64 points to close at 15,732.
With the opening of the market, about 1415 shares rose, 348 shares declined and 73 shares remained unchanged. Tata Motors, Bajaj Finance, JSW Steel, M&M and Hindalco Industries were the major gainers on the Nifty, while Tata Steel, HUL, Reliance Industries, HDFC and Britannia Industries were among the losers.

On Wednesday, the third trading day of the week, the stock market started with a slight increase. The 30-share Sensex of the Bombay Stock Exchange opened at 52761.14, up 67.57 points or 0.13 per cent, while the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange opened up 24.30 points or 0.15 per cent at 15756.40. But, with the opening of the market, the decline started again.
