New Delhi. The world’s leading IT company Cognizant has told its employees in a threatening manner that this is their last chance to save their jobs. If the company’s orders are not followed, they will be fired. The company has given this order to the employees working in India. The company has warned its employees about this several times before. This time there has been talk of direct dismissal from the job.
In fact, the company has informed its employees several times to come back to office. what is written in the mail
According to Live Mint, in the mail sent by Cognizant on April 15, it was said that those employees who do not come to office despite repeated reminders, they will be fired. Non-compliance of this order may lead to disciplinary action as per company policy. This may also result in termination of the employee.
India has the highest number of employees
Cognizant CEO Ravi Kumar S had issued a mail in February last saying that all the employees and associates of the company should ensure to come to office for at least 3 days a week and the team leader will be responsible for this. Out of the total 3,47,700 employees of the company, 2,54,000 are in India only. Obviously the company has the largest employee base here.
Other companies also called back employees
Cognizant’s other rival companies like TCS, Infosys and Wipro have also called all their employees back to office. Employees of these companies have started working from office throughout the week from the year 2023 itself. The company’s attrition rate i.e. the rate at which employees leave their jobs has come down to 10 percent, which was earlier 13.1 percent. Its biggest impact has been due to work from home.
