During the hearing, the villagers raised several arguments by expressing strong objection to the lease approval of three new granite mines in the village. On repeated requests from the villagers, VS Rai, the regional officer of the Pollution Department, had to get the approval of granite mines on all those khasra numbers, went there and also did a site test. The regional officers along with the villagers went to the lease approved area to conduct a site test. There the villagers informed him about the status quo and told that getting the lease would increase the risk of destruction of green crops in the nearby fields. There will be less creation and more destruction. At the same time, those applying for the operation of all the three granite mines showed their side and also showed many vegetables to the villagers. But his voice was suppressed in front of the protest of the villagers. Prabhari ADM DP Dwivedi told that the proceedings have been stopped due to the protest of the villagers during the hearing, no conclusion has been reached yet.
