The Meteorological Department has given its latest forecast that there may be snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The weather department has predicted rain at all these places. Light rain is expected in the country’s capital Delhi. Delhi will remain cloudy on Thursday also. At the same time, there may be light rain or drizzle in Ghaziabad and surrounding areas adjacent to Delhi. The weather is expected to remain dry in the remaining areas.
The Meteorological Department has recently estimated that heatwave may occur in many states. According to the Meteorological Department, apart from the interior areas of Karnataka and Odisha, people will have to face heat wave till April 6 in the Ganga areas of West Bengal, Jharkhand, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema. The night temperature in Odisha is also likely to increase significantly. According to the Meteorological Department, the reason for snowfall in the hilly areas is western disturbance. Even before this, many western disturbances have occurred since January this year. Due to which there was heavy snowfall in the hilly areas and cold remained in the plains till the second week of March.
The Meteorological Department has already said that this year it is going to be very hot as per the extreme cold. This year, heat wave will also last longer in the plains of the country. The effect of heat wave is seen on an average for 8 days every year, but according to the Meteorological Department, this year the heat wave is likely to last for much more days. To avoid heatwave, it is important to drink water and keep the stomach full. Every year many people lose their lives during the summer season due to heatstroke.
