The latest estimates of the Meteorological Department say that the effect of western disturbance is being seen in the western Himalayan areas. Due to this western disturbance, there may be rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand in the next few days. Apart from Uttarakhand, hailstorm may also occur at some places in the remaining three states. Regarding UP, the Meteorological Department says that there is a possibility of rain in the eastern part of the state. Whereas, the weather will remain clear in Western UP and adjoining Delhi and other areas.
According to the Meteorological Department, there may be rain and thundershowers in the coastal areas of Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. There are chances of strong storm or wind blowing in these states. Heavy rain is also expected in the Himalayan areas of West Bengal, Sikkim and Western Assam. Light rain is also expected in Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Tripura, Manipur and Mizoram. This rain will continue for the next one week. Eastern Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha region of Maharashtra and Telangana may also experience thunderstorms or thunderstorms by Friday. Along with this, the weather department has also said that there will be rain in these areas.
The Meteorological Department has said that the effect of extreme heat will be visible in Kutch and Saurashtra of Gujarat. The heat will also be very intense in the south-west region of Rajasthan. Apart from Konkan and Goa, the weather will also be hot in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Lakshadweep and surrounding areas. There can be a lot of humidity in these places. The Meteorological Department has already told that it is going to be very hot in India this year. The special thing is that from January to the second week of March, a lot of cold has been seen in North India.
