BJP MLA’s new statement has created another controversy. If Trinamool Congress (TMC) leaders terrorize him and make false allegations against him, they will break his arms and legs. In a video going viral on social media, BJP MLA Swapan Majumdar also promised that he would stand by the unhappy workers of the party in any situation. Majumdar is a BJP MLA from Bangaon South.
In the video, he can be heard telling his supporters at a party meeting, “If any TMC leader implicates our workers in a false case, if terrorizes our workers, that leader may not be able to return safely.” Enough is Enough.
Break his arms and legs in self-defense and come to me. I promise to stand by you. However, the veracity of this video has not been confirmed as of now.
TMC criticized
Controversy arose over Majumdar’s statement. The Trinamool Congress strongly condemned the statement. TMC spokesperson Kunal Ghosh claimed that it shows the mindset and culture of BJP leaders.
“We strongly condemn such language, words and threats. Frustrated by the popularity of Trinamool Congress in the area, he is making such threats.

BJP also clarified

It is a reaction to the recent threats by the government.
The government denied threatening any BJP worker in the area and described the MLA as a leader who has used derogatory words against him and other TMC leaders in the past.
