Kolkata. During the Left government in West Bengal, Trinamool Congress TMC supremo Mamta Banerjee had fiercely agitated against the Tata Motors factory in Singur. As a result, Tata had to give up its intention to open a factory here. Now leaving that old trick, Mamta Banerjee is tempting industrialists to come to her state. He organized the Bengal Global Trade Summit 2022 yesterday i.e. on Wednesday. In this program, Mamta invited all the big industrialists and requested them to set up industries in the state. Mamta told that her government will give all possible facilities to the industrialists. At the same time, BJP leader and Mamta’s old aide Subhendu Adhikari, referring to the violence in the state, said that Bengal no longer means business, it has become blood. He said that Bengal is no longer for business, as Mamata is trying to show through her summit.
The country’s eminent industrialist Gautam Adani also attended Mamta’s Global Trade Summit. He sang a lot of praises of Mamta didi here. Adani said that his group will invest Rs 10,000 crore in West Bengal. Adani said the Adani Group will invest in data centres, marine cables, warehousing, logistics parks and infrastructure to expand the business in the state. Let us inform that the Adani Group already has a factory to make edible oil in Haldia, West Bengal. Mamta and her ministers present on the stage were also very excited by this announcement of Gautam Adani.
After all, why did Mamta didi’s change from ‘Udyog Bhagao’ to ‘Industry Lure’? Experts believe that in order to control the anger arising out of unemployment among the youth, Mamta is now trying to give jobs to them by setting up factories. The unemployment rate in West Bengal is 5.4%. Whereas, the national average is 7.6 percent. In view of this unemployment rate and worrying about the future of her party, now Mamta didi is preparing to provide employment by setting up industries. Along with this, Mamta has also announced the creation of many new districts. They also intend to provide government jobs through this. Industries do not want to come to West Bengal. The reason for this is violence and allegedly taking cut money on behalf of Trinamool workers.
