After making the call, they are logged out of their WhatsApp account, and the hackers have complete control of their account in seconds.

It has been told in the blog post that when you get a call from hackers, they will first ask you to dial *6710 digit number or 40510 digit number. If you dial that number under the hood, your WhatsApp will be logged out within a few minutes and the hackers will have complete control of your account.
How does OTP scam work?
After dialing the number, these numbers are used for call forward key requests in Reliance Jio and Airtel. After this, hackers get you to forward the call to your number by taking you under the guise. After this he logs in with your WhatsApp number and gets OTP through call and you are not even aware of it. In this way hackers hack your WhatsApp account and fraud.

According to the security researcher, this method can also be used to log into someone’s WhatsApp account, provided the hacker has access to their phone and has been given permission to make calls.
