In these incidents, two people died on the spot. The case of burning of people is from Gudisarve village of Salaiya Panchayat of Fatehpur block of Gaya district. One person also died here, while in Mohanpur block also one person died due to lightning.
Let us tell you that a weekly market was organized in Gudi Survey village of Fatehpur block of Gaya district. During this time, strong storm and rain started and within no time, strong lightning started appearing in the sky. Before the rain, people hid under a Neem tree, but at this very place there was a thunderstorm and more than 12 people got burnt simultaneously. After this, everyone was hurriedly admitted to Fatehpur Primary Health Centre. Among the deceased, 45-year-old Vishwanath Yadav, a resident of Dangra, died, while 50-year-old Saroj Devi, a resident of Bara Baida village, died.
At the same time, as soon as the information about the incident was received, the police of Fatehpur police station reached with their force. Along with this, the local CO and BDO also reached the spot and took complete information about the incident and gave instructions to the concerned officers and doctors to ensure proper treatment of all the injured.
After the incident, DM Dr. Tyag Rajan SM has instructed the Civil Surgeon to provide better medical facilities to all the injured. Also, it should be ensured that disaster compensation amount is given to the families of the deceased within 24 hours. At the same time, DM has also expressed grief over this incident and consoled the family members.
