Azad told that some gangsters of Meerut were after him, he sent this information to Uttar Pradesh Intelligence Department. The police reviewed the case and sent its information to the Union Home Ministry. On the recommendation of the state police, the Center provided them Y+ Grade Security.
According to the information received, CRPF personnel along with state police personnel and personal commandos were deployed since Wednesday night for the security of Bhim Army Chief Chandrashekhar Azad, also known as Ravana. About 8 to 11 CRPF personnel and 2 PSO commandos will be deployed 24 hours for their security.
Before the Lok Sabha elections, Bhim Army was in talks with the state’s main opposition party Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav for seat sharing, but due to no talks, the party chief himself filed his nomination from Nagina Lok Sabha seat. Even before filing the nomination, he has been quite active and is continuously doing public relations in this area.
