Chennai. Prime Minister Narendra Modi met German singer-songwriter Cassandra Mae Spitmann and her mother in Palladam, Tamil Nadu on Tuesday. The singer sang ‘Achyutham Keshavam’ and a Tamil song in front of PM Modi. This video is also going viral on social media, in which PM Modi can be seen enjoying his music.
Cassandra Mae Spitmann is a German citizen. Last year his Tamil songs and devotional Indian tracks went viral. He was also mentioned in PM Modi’s 105th ‘Mann Ki Baat’. This is the 22-year-old woman’s first visit to India. He sang two songs for PM Modi’s show. The special thing is that Cassandra Mai Spitman sings in Kannada, Sanskrit, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Urdu, Assamese and Bengali.

PM Modi had then said, “What a sweet voice… and through the emotions reflected in every word, we can feel her love for God. If I tell you that this melodious voice belongs to a daughter from Germany, perhaps you will be even more surprised! The name of this daughter is- Cassandra Mae Spitman.”
PM Modi offered prayers at Meenakshi temple
During his visit to Tamil Nadu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also offered prayers at the famous Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple in Madurai on Tuesday. Dressed in traditional dhoti and shirt, the Prime Minister visited the temple in the evening and offered prayers during his two-day visit to Tamil Nadu. On the arrival of PM Modi, he was given full Kumbham temple respect by the temple priests, under which he chanted Vedic mantras and presented a shawl to the Prime Minister.
