New Delhi. During Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Jammu and Kashmir, he held discussions with beneficiaries of various developmental projects at Bakshi Stadium. During a conversation with a beneficiary named Nazim, Nazim expressed his desire to take a selfie with PM Modi. The Prime Minister politely agreed to fulfill Nazim’s wish and later shared the selfie on social media platforms.
When Nazim expressed his desire to take a selfie with PM Modi, the Prime Minister replied, “Sure, I will instruct my SPG team to bring you to me. We will definitely take selfies together.” PM Modi took to the social media platform to wish him all the best for his future endeavours. During their conversation, Nazim, a beneficiary of developmental projects in India, told PM Modi about his work extracting honey from bees. He said he has sold 5,000 kg of honey and intends to involve other youth in his venture. Gradually, around 100 individuals joined them, and they received an FPO in 2023, allaying any concerns about the future.

PM Modi inquired about Nazim’s dreams during his schooling. Nazim replied, “When I was in 10th class, my family suggested becoming a doctor or engineer, but I did not pay heed to their advice.” This conversation reflects Nazim’s determination to chart his own path despite societal expectations, which also reflects the spirit of entrepreneurship and self-determination among India’s youth.
