Who is Vaibhav Kokat? The one who exposed IAS Pooja Khedkar

Mumbai: Many shocking revelations have come to light so far in the trainee IAS Pooja Khedkar case (IAS Pooja Khedkar Updates). UPSC has now filed a case against Pooja Khedkar as well. She has been barred from appearing in the exam, why should your candidature not be cancelled? A show cause notice has been sent to her by UPSC. Meanwhile, the whole matter came to light through a tweet. Vaibhav Kokat tweeted this from his Twitter handle on 6 July.

Vaibhav Kokat had tweeted, ‘Are trainee IAS using Audi cars? The rule states that it is improper to put a signboard with ‘Maharashtra Government’ written on it on a private vehicle. But Dr. Pooja Khedkar, a 2022 batch IAS officer on probation in Pune Collectorate, took a private Audi car with VIP number of Maharashtra government. Apart from this, red and blue lights were also installed in this private car.’

Read the story of that brave woman… at the age of 26, she had ripped apart the ‘courage’ of a tiger, was honoured with the Shaurya Chakra

Many allegations were made
He further wrote, ‘In Pune Collector’s Office, there is always a discussion about who are these big officers who come to office in luxury cars with Audi company logo and lamps. The special thing is that this officer madam keeps the lights of her car on even during the day. The name ‘car’ of this officer madam is not limited to cars only, but when senior officers went to the ministry in Mumbai for official work, this officer madam occupied their verandah and took out the stuff from the seniors’ verandah. And made her office there and also put up a board with her name.’

Father used to come to the office and threaten people.
He further wrote, ‘Pune Collector Suhas Divase has filed a report to the Additional Chief Secretary Ministry regarding his behavior and in this report the collector has mentioned the stubbornness of Officer Madam that ‘my office should be next to the Collector’s office and I want a constable and I want this car’. Officer Madam’s father comes to the Collector’s office and tells the employees and officers there that, you all are harassing my daughter, she will never get such a post in her lifetime. He also threatens that if you harass my daughter then you will also have to suffer in the future. Even Officer Madam did not like the office, which was repaired with immense stubbornness.’

The tweet further said that there is no government provision to provide facilities like car, soldier, hall etc. to the officers on probation. The District Magistrate indicated to give him back the charge of Additional District Magistrate. On this, Pooja Khedkar sent a WhatsApp message saying that this is an insult to me. The conduct of this officer on probation is not in accordance with an administrative officer. The District Collector has given detailed suggestions in his report that the district should be changed for training to run the government work smoothly in the district.

In the tweet, Vaibhav Kokat further said that ‘Why are the new officers so excited? Officers who joined the government service 10-15 years ago or earlier are very aware of their work and have authority and humility in nature, but many great people who have joined the government service in the last 5-6 years have the intention of only doing a superficial job. I want to grow fast, I want to live a life of riches, I want to be rich. I want to be completely on Instagram. Philosophy has to be spread on social media. There has been a very worrying wave in the administrative service in the last few years. With some exceptions, the time has come to say that old officers are better than new officers. Then this matter came to light.

After this, he said, ‘A tweet has a lot of power, we should write fearlessly. Even if the time is difficult, the truth should be spoken keeping the common man at the center. Write and speak against the system. He has also tweeted that your writing has the power to bend the system.
