Moitra lashed out at the government for the allegations made in the Hindenburg report on Adani Group. He said, the question is being raised that who is behind Mahua. I am with the truth. Mahua ended her speech in a poetic way that every lie in the market was sold by afternoon and I sat till evening with one truth. However, after Mahua’s speech was over when K.K. Rammohan Naidu was making his point when the TMC MP suddenly got up from her chair and used abusive words for a member of the ruling party, following which an uproar started in the House. The BJP members were adamant on demanding an apology from Mahua.
We will talk to TMC leader regarding this issue. But the member should apologize for the kind of word that has been heard. But I leave it to them. If she doesn’t apologise, it shows her culture.
Prahlad Joshi, Parliamentary Affairs Minister
Seeing the uproar, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi said that he would talk to the TMC leader regarding the issue. The member should apologize for the kind of word that has been heard. But I leave it to them. If she doesn’t apologise, it shows her culture. The proceedings of the House resumed after Joshi’s statement.
