Oneplus Smartphones Sale Crisis: Smartphone maker OnePlus is currently facing a big crisis. Sales of OnePlus smartphones may stop in about 2 lakh shops in India today. There has been a dispute going on between OnePlus and the South Indian retail organization for the past several days. ORA has also asked its OnePlus sellers to stop selling the company’s smartphones from today i.e. May 1. After the news of stoppage of sales from offline market, now a question is arising in the minds of people whether OnePlus smartphones will be available in the online market or not? Let us tell you that South Indian Retail Organization i.e. ORA said that OnePlus is not keeping its promises and at the same time the demand is also not being met on time. Not only this, retailers are also worried due to low profit margin. Due to all these problems, ORA has decided to stop the sale of OnePlus in India from May 1.
Will OnePlus phones be available in the online market or not?
All India Mobile Retailers Association (AIMRA) has also said to support this decision of ORA. Let us tell you that both these organizations are major retailer organizations of India. After their decision, now the question has started rising in the minds of people whether OnePlus mobiles will stop being sold in the online market too, then let us tell you that the impact of the decision of ORA and AIMRA will be only in the offline market.
ORA and AIMRA’s decision will have no impact
If you want to buy any smartphone of OnePlus then you can buy it. The company’s smartphones will continue to be sold on Amazon and Flipkart as before. The decision of ORA and AIMRA is not going to have any impact on the online platform.
If you do not know, then let us tell you that ORA represents about 4,300 retailers in South India while AIMRA represents about 1,50,000 shops in India. If both these organizations remain adamant on their decision, then OnePlus smartphones may disappear from the offline market. At present, no information has been shared by OnePlus regarding whether sales from offline market will be stopped or not.
