Mumbai, Will the friendship between Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav break? Was this alliance only for the Lok Sabha elections? This question is being asked because a senior SP leader has given such a statement in Mumbai, which is giving indications of this. Actually, the tussle has started for the assembly elections to be held in Maharashtra. Abu Azmi, the president of Samajwadi Party in Maharashtra, has given such a statement, which has increased the stir. He not only directly attacked the Mahavikas Aghadi, but has even said that if he does not get the desired seats in the assembly elections, he will fight alone.
Assembly elections are to be held in Maharashtra in October this year. Before this, all the political parties have started doing manipulations and calculations. Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party’s Maharashtra President Abu Azmi appeared aggressive against his own alliance partner MVA. Azmi said, we will ask for 10 seats from Mahavikas Aghadi in the Maharashtra Assembly elections. We will decide those seats ourselves. If our demand is not accepted, then we will contest the elections alone.
Attacking the Mahavikas Aghadi, Azmi said that the MVA also never raised the issue of Muslim reservation. No one talks about 5% population. They also have full hope of Muslim votes but they do not talk about reservation. We do not accept this. They think that if there is excessive oppression, Muslims will vote for them. But now it is not so. Now we will vote for them only when they give us in writing that Muslim reservation will be its policy.
Abu Azmi said, when our voice will not be heard, then why vote for them. This time you see that Muslims voted even for the one who said- I have demolished the mosque. This condition has been put forward by the Samajwadi Party at a time when after performing well in the Lok Sabha elections, the MVA parties are busy preparing for the assembly elections.
