Anuppur (New World Representative). On the occasion of International Women’s Day, events were organized in the district in honor of women. Somewhere a health camp was organized and women were honored for their achievement.
Information given about the legal service given to women
A legal literacy camp was organized by the District Legal Services Authority, Anuppur, on the topic of law for the benefit of women, at District Jail Anuppur, District Hospital Anuppur, Government Higher Secondary School, Funga. Bhu-Bhaskar Yadav, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Anuppur, was present in District Jail Anuppur and gave information on the law concerning the benefit of women. He also solved the legal problems of women prisoners. In the legal literacy camp organized at District Hospital Anuppur, information regarding the law for the benefit of women was given by Bhu-Bhaskar Yadav, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Anuppur. District Legal Aid Officer Anuppur Pradeep Singh gave information about the law for the benefit of women to the girl students and female teachers by organizing a legal literacy camp in village Funga, Government Higher Secondary School, Rural Zone.
MNREGA women mates were congratulated: In compliance with the instructions of the Panchayat and Rural Development Department to organize special programs from March 7 to 13, with the aim of encouraging women empowerment and the remarkable work done by women, 11 MNREGA mates of the district in the collectorate auditorium. Participation in the organized district level program was encouraged by registering. Under which Sanjeeda Begum of Farhada of Pushprajgarh district panchayat, Gayatri Yadav of Baranjh, Durgavati Singh of Changeri of Kotma district, Lilavati Singh, Revanti Tiwari and Kasia Tiwari of Katkona village, Ahitya Kewat of Cholna of Jaithari district, Maniwa Singh of Kukurgora district Radha Singh of Darsagar of Anuppur, Neetu Rajak of Sakola, Omvati Yadav of Deori all female mates were felicitated.
Health check-up of Anganwadi workers: On the occasion of Women’s Day, a health check-up camp was organized by the Department of Women and Child Development in the district hospital. On this occasion, more than 902 women and child development department workers and assistants were tested for health, out of which 268 in Jaithari, 376 in Pushrajgarh, 98 in 170 Jaithari in Anuppur.
Child Welfare Committee honored Karmaveer women: On International Women’s Day, various programs were organized in the Child Welfare Committee, in which women who played a leading role in art, social welfare, child rights were honored. Seema Vishwas for significant contribution in the field of art, Laxmi Oraon for remarkable work in the social field, Seema Yadav for child rights and Reshma Rathore, Kaushalya were honored with Shriphal and insignia. Juvenile Justice Board Judge Ram Avtar Patel, who was present as the chief guest in the program, said in his speech that women are not only the pillars of the society but also the pillars of the world, without women we cannot even imagine the world, whatever is happening in the society today.
