Market. There are many naturally occurring fruits, flowers and vegetables in Himachal Pradesh which, if eaten according to the season, will never make you fall ill. People living in rural areas are still well aware of the importance of these natural products and work hard to bring them to the markets for sale. Nowadays, naturally occurring flowers of Buransh, Phegdi, Kachnar, Tryambalu, Lingad and wild greens and other vegetables are being brought for sale in the markets of Mandi city. These flowers and vegetables are not cultivated in any way and are obtained naturally from trees planted in forests or fields.
The special thing is that no fertilizer of any kind is used in their production. This is the reason why people like to consume them with great enthusiasm. Tirtha Raj and Rama Devi, who came to sell Buransh flowers, told that the chutney of Buransh flowers provides coolness in the scorching heat. It also provides relief from many other incurable diseases including nose bleeding etc. In summer, juice and chutney is made from Buransh flowers.
Villagers Teji Devi and Begi Devi told that they go to the forest to collect these naturally occurring vegetables and after working hard all day, bring them to the market for sale. These are those vegetables which are available only according to the season. Nowadays, their consumption in the summer season not only keeps the body healthy but also provides relief from many diseases. These natural vegetables work as a panacea for BP, sugar and many other diseases.
