Amidst the ongoing political crisis in Pakistan, Prime Minister Imran Khan once again took a jibe at his country’s foreign policy. During an interview, Imran Khan said that because of India’s foreign policy, his passport is respected all over the world. Imran said that when you are a selfless community, people respect you.
Talking to ARY News, Imran Khan said that he has been given three options – to face voting on a no-confidence motion, to hold elections prematurely or to resign as Prime Minister. Describing the threat to his life, Imran Khan further said that not only is his life in danger, but the opposition, who has become a puppet of foreign hands, will also assassinate his character.
Pointing out that many members of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf had moved to the opposition camp before the no-confidence vote, he pointed out that even though the opposition’s no-confidence motion failed, “we are such people (defections)”. Imran Khan said that he will appeal to the people of his country to give them such a majority that no compromise has to be made. Imran Khan said, “I am openly saying that my life is in danger.” He said, “Those, who have conspired against me, know that I will not keep silent. What do they think that by spending 20 billion rupees, 25 billion rupees, they will topple my government and I will keep watching silently? That’s why I am saying that my life is in danger.” Earlier, Pakistan’s Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry claimed that security agencies had given intelligence inputs about a plot to assassinate the prime minister.
