It is said that a person is ready to cross all limits in the affair of love. But now such a case has come to the fore, in which a man took a boat from Thailand and went out to meet his wife living in India. However, when he moved 50 miles off the coast of Thailand, the Thai Navy found out. After the arrest, interrogation revealed that the man is from Vietnam and he was traveling in the middle of the sea for about two weeks.
According to the Thai Navy, the name of the person living in Vietnam is Ho Huang Hung. He had left the Thai holiday island of Phuket with the help of a rubber kayak. Ho Huang Hung’s wife lives in Mumbai and to meet her, he set out on a journey carrying water and noodles in a rubber kayak. According to the Navy, he had left the island of Phuket on March 5 and reached near Similan Island, 80 km from Thailand.
According to reports, Ho Huang Huang had left without any navigation system. His information was given by the local fishermen to the Marine Security Unit of the Navy. Ho Hoang Hung was rescued by the Navy after information. Ho Huang Hung embarked on a dangerous 2,000 km journey from Phuket to visit his wife, who works in Mumbai. They were not able to meet each other for the last two years due to the restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to Captain Pichet Songtan of the Thai Maritime Enforcement Command Center, Ho Hoang Hung had no maps, compass, GPS or clothing and had only limited water. Captain Pichette Songtan told that Hoang had gone to Bangkok first but when he came to know that he could not go to India without a visa. It was only after getting frustrated that he reached Phuket by bus and after that he had bought a rubber kayak.
The Thai Navy said Ho Hoang had left the Phuket coast on March 5 but was trapped in the gusty winds. “We have contacted the Vietnamese embassy as well as the Indian embassy, but have not yet received a response,” Captain Pichet Songtan of the Thai Maritime Enforcement Command Center told the media.
