On September 3, 2012, at 5 a.m. in Thailand, Police Sergeant Wishin Klanprasert, on duty in Bangkok, was riding a bike and going to the scene on information about an incident. Then a gray Ferrari hit his bike and Sergeant Wishin jumped into the air and fell away. Then Ferrari went on dragging the sergeant’s body for several meters. When the police reached after the incident, they saw that oil was flowing far in a line on the road.
After this terrible accident, the policemen made this oil their support and reached that last place. There was a large mansion in front of the policemen, now the policemen were astonished as this house belonged to the owner of Red Bull energy drink Chalayau Yuvithia. Chalayau Uwithia was the one who created the Red Bull drink and started business internationally in 1987 with a businessman. Well, the policemen immediately got the search warrant issued and went to the house to search.
The police found an accidental gray Ferrari in the garage, the front of which was sunken and the airbags were open. The car was registered in the name of Vorayuth aka Boss, the grandson of Chalayau Uwithia. When the police interrogated, the relatives raised a man saying that he was driving the car, but later when the police asked the drunk Vorayuth, he confessed to blowing up Sergeant Wishin. Investigation revealed that he was driving the car at a speed of 177 kmph.
On Vorayuth, the police registered many cases including hit and run, but the billionaire father’s son got bail within minutes, then Vorayuth fled the country. With the passage of time, the era of changing the evidence in the case started with getting the dates in the court. By the year 2016, forensic experts said, at the time of the accident, Vorayuth’s vehicle was in the speed of bus 79. The news of the change of facts in the case created a ruckus in the country and there was a demand for boycott of Red Bull.
In the year 2017, an Interpol warrant was also issued against Vorayuth under heavy pressure. Then two years later, in 2019, suddenly two eyewitnesses came from Vorayuth’s side and said that the car was in the speed of 50-60. But in the year 2020, the twist came in the case when the Attorney General’s Office said that the cases registered against Vorayuth have been withdrawn. Angry people were on the streets and when Goonj reached Parliament, the Prime Minister of the country formed an inquiry committee.
One of the two witnesses who suddenly appeared during the investigation of the committee died on 30 July. Then the investigative committee told that according to experts, Vorayuth’s Ferrari was in the speed of 177 km at the time of the incident. Apart from this, the committee said that the police also need to investigate the angle of finding traces of drugs in Vorayuth’s blood sample. However, the case remains the same as of now as Vorayuth aka Boss is having fun in some corner of the world.
