Union Law Secretary Anoop Kumar Mendiratta on Wednesday expressed his concern over the increasing cases of cyber crime. He said that cyber crime has opened a new avenue of sexual harassment and has posed a big challenge for us. Also said that this is a violation of fundamental rights under Article 14, 21 of the Constitution.
Addressing the women officers of the Department of Legal Affairs, Mendiratta said that there are many challenges associated with this and the first step is to talk and write to the complaints committee on the complaint regarding the incident.

The workshop was followed by an interactive session with various activities like ‘Chuppi Tod’ conducted by Dr. Anju Rathi Rana, Additional Secretary on Law and asked the participants to share one good thing in their workplace and one area in their workplace, whomever they want.
