Lucknow. Loudspeakers installed at religious places have become a big issue in the politics of Uttar Pradesh. Earlier also the campaign to remove loudspeakers from religious places was started by the Yogi government and now once again the campaign to remove loudspeakers from religious places may start in UP. Along with this, swift action can also be taken against the policemen who are addicted to drugs. The CM gave several instructions while reviewing the law and order situation in the state with senior officials of the government and zone, range and district level officials at his government residence at 5 Kalidas Marg, Lucknow late Friday evening. He said that during his visits to the districts in the recent days, I have experienced that these loudspeakers are being installed again at religious places in some districts. This is not acceptable. Ideal situation should be created by communicating immediately.
Apart from this, on the question of deployment of policemen, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that policemen with drug habit should not be given field deployment under any circumstances. He said that such people should be identified and their services terminated. He said that there should not be a single incident of manufacture, purchase and sale of illegal liquor in the state. Concrete action should be taken for this. He also ordered raids on illegal liquor bases after collecting solid information.
