Sondwa. The National Service Scheme unit of the New Government College organized a seven-day camp at village Sakri. It was concluded with enthusiasm. The chief guest on this occasion was Ravi Muvel, CEO of Janpad Panchayat. Principal Dr. Bhupendra Tiwari presided. Social worker and advocate Sudhir Jain was present as a special guest.
While addressing, Principal Dr. Tiwari told the NSS volunteers that by doing service work, you are working to strengthen your village and the country. The work of setting up an NCC unit for the students is also going on in full swing. District CEO Muvel said that the experience of NSS camp in student life and the discipline learned from it help us immensely in personality development. With this we can do better work for the needy with dedication. Advocate Jain said that the way students keep their own body and home clean, in the same way, the temple of knowledge, college and our village should also contribute in keeping clean. He also explained the ways of service to the volunteers through small tasks in daily life.
Stop dam deepening, sanitation works done
NSS Program Officer Dr. Mukesh Ajnar presented the work report of the camp. During this, the students did the work of deepening the stop dam in the village, cleaning around the hand pump etc. The survey form based on health, public cleanliness was filled by contacting 363 houses. In the program, Prof. Rajesh Baria, Prof. Omprakash Kothari, Inder Singh Solanki and village employment assistant Benidyal Solanki and volunteers were present.
