New Delhi. The central government has blocked 16 YouTube channels, which include 6 Pakistani channels, spreading propaganda against India in front of the world fraternity. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has taken this action using the emergency powers of the IT Rules 2021. These YouTube channels are reported to have more than 68 million viewers. Through these channels, unverified lies and propaganda are being spread against India to the world fraternity. Allegedly, through these channels, while some community people were marked as terrorists, there has been work to spread hatred among people of different religions. After which strict action has been taken against these above channels.
An attempt was made to disturb the social fabric through these channels. At the same time, propaganda has been done against India through these channels regarding Jammu and Kashmir. At the same time, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting says that the above channels did not give the information required under IT Rule 18 to India. After which it has been decided to block these channels. However, this is not the first time that the central government has decided to block those channels, which spread propaganda against India, but many channels have been blocked even before this.
Please tell that 22 YouTube channels were blocked under IT rules. Some of which also included Pakistan channels, Facebook pages and Twitter accounts, which used to spread propaganda against India from foreign platforms. More than 260 crore views were recorded on these channels, which clearly shows how massive an attempt is being made to spread propaganda against India, but the central government is also determined that no matter what anyone does. These efforts will not be allowed to succeed at any cost.
