There is a time in the life of all of us, when yesterday, his bitter memories, incomplete dreams or regrets repeatedly knock in our mind. Sometimes the breakdown of a relationship, the outdoors of an opportunity or any mistake that still bothers – all of them disturb our mental peace. In such a situation, the biggest question is: How can we forget our past and make tomorrow and today?

Why is the burden of the past heavy?
Man’s memory is also a boon and many times a curse. We learn from our experiences, but sometimes these experiences also become an obstacle in our development. When we recall the events of the past repeatedly, we throw our current energy into negativity. These memories take us to a state of self -aggrandizement, guilt and anxiety.

Why is it necessary to leave tomorrow?
Defense of mental health: If we remain entangled in the past, then we can be a victim of mental fatigue, stress and depression. Leaving the past is the first step of self-ingestion.

The art of living in the present: It is possible to live in today when it is possible to get out of the shadows of the past. Our real power is hidden at the present moment.
Future creation: The coming tomorrow can only be good when you do positive work today. But if we will be lost in the past, then we will not be able to do anything today.

7 practical ways to forget the past:
1. Accept that the past cannot be changed:
Even tomorrow, it cannot be changed. Accepting this brings peace to the mind. This is the first step towards Healing.

2. Try to take some Sikhs in what happened:
Every incident, whether good or bad, gives someone learning. Make the learning from that experience a part of your personality and move forward.

3. Practice self-forgiveness:
If the mistake of the past is yours, then learn to forgive yourself. Nobody is perfect, and everyone makes mistakes. This will make you feel light.

4. Take the support of meditation and meditation:
Meditation is a very effective remedy to keep the mind in the present. Meditating 10–15 minutes daily calms the mind and weakens the memories of the past.

5. Be busy, set new goals:
When we are busy with a creative work, then our focus starts from the past and starts towards the future and present. New goals and small achievements increase self-confidence.

6. Share emotions:
Sometimes talking makes the mind lighter. Share your mind things with a trusted friend, family or counselor. This will give expression to your feelings.

7. Journaling (Journaling):
If something is bothering, write it in a diary. This is the method of mental purification, which makes the mind lighter and the clarity of thoughts comes.

Start to improve tomorrow from today
Forgetting tomorrow is not done in a day, but if we take a small step every day, then gradually the mind goes lighter. The foundation of a better tomorrow is laid today – with the decisions, thinking and actions made at the present. While getting up every morning, say to myself, “I will do something good today. I will make it better today today.” I love yourself, love yourself and resolve to move forward.
