Experts are also confused about the fourth wave of corona infection. On the one hand, they are saying that if the fourth wave comes, it will be like the third. Meaning, not much will be fatal and will end soon. At the same time, they are also saying that nothing much can be said about the fourth wave at the moment.
Senior Scientist at IIT Kanpur Prof. Manindra Aggarwal says that till now the possibility of fourth wave of corona coming is less. On the rapidly spreading corona infection in many countries, he said that there is no need to panic too much.
Natural immunity has been generated in more than 90 percent of the people in the country, which the virus has not been able to bypass so far. Vaccines are also increasing capacity.
Giving information from his mathematical model formula about the peak and transition fluctuations in the first, second and third wave of corona infection, Prof. Manindra Agarwal’s claim has almost proved to be true. Amidst the anticipation of the fourth wave, Prof. Agarwal then studied with his mathematical model.
Regarding the case of Corona coming in Delhi, Noida and other states, Prof. Aggarwal said that 8 to 10 cases in a population of lakhs does not indicate a wave of infection. If the mutants of the virus change significantly and are more dangerous than Delta, then the fourth wave will have to be more careful.
It is not yet known what the new virus will be like, so it will be difficult to say for sure how deadly the fourth wave will be. He said that due to natural immunity, the third wave of corona did not prove to be more deadly.
