Ingredients for making Paneer Angara-
4 tomatoes
1 large piece ginger
2 green chilies
1 dry red chili
4 cloves
7-8 black peppercorns
15 cashew nuts
3 tbsp oil
1/4 tsp cumin
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp cumin
1 piece cinnamon
2 bay leaves
3 small cardamoms
1/2 turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp degi red chili powder
1 tbsp kasoori methi
1 tbsp butter
1 small capsicum
1 cup water
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp coriander leaves
250 grams cottage cheese, cut into pieces
1/2 cup grated cheese
1/2 tsp asafoetida
Method to make Paneer Angara-
Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin, cinnamon, cloves, black pepper, bay leaves, cardamom and dry red chilies and temper it. Now add tomatoes, ginger and chillies to it. Now put cashew nuts in it and keep it covered for cooking. Now grind all these things and make a paste. Keep its paste aside. Now heat oil in a pan and add cumin and turmeric powder to it.
After this, add coriander powder, red chili powder and kasoori fenugreek to the paste and mix it well. Now put capsicum in it on medium flame. Now keep adding water to it. Now put a piece of coal on another burner on the gas and burn it till the gravy comes to a boil. Put some oil on it too. Here add coriander and salt to the gravy. After this, add paneer pieces and grated paneer to the gravy and mix. Now after cooking this for five minutes, turn off the gas and remove the lid and keep a small bowl by making a small space in the middle of the vegetable. Keep burning coal in this bowl. Put asafoetida and teaspoon oil on the coal and immediately cover the pan. By doing this the smoky flavor of asafoetida will come well in the vegetable. Your Paneer Angara is ready.
