Finely chopped pieces of pineapple- 1 cup
shredded coconut- 1/2 cup
Ghee- 2 tbsp
Sugar- 1 cup
custard powder- 1/2 cup
Water- as required
how to make barfi
Step-1. Put 1 cup sugar and one and a half cup water in a pan and heat it till it dissolves. Keep in mind, it does not have to be made syrup.
Step-2. Blend the coconut and pineapple pieces in a blender and filter it to extract its juice.
Step-3. Now add custard powder to it and mix it well and mix it by adding it to the hot sugar mixture.
Step-5. Now heat this mixture while stirring till it becomes thick.
Step-6. Now add 2 tbsp ghee to it and stir it till it leaves the sides of the pan.
Step-7. Cover this mixture with butter paper or take it out in a mold greased with ghee and let it set for 1 hour. Once it cools down, keep it in the fridge for 1 hour.
Step-8. After the mixture settles, cut it into the shape of barfi. Your delicious Pineapple Barfi is ready.
