Assistant Professor Dr. Sumit Rawat of Bundelkhand Medical College Sagar told Local 18 that certain symptoms are seen in the body, which alert of increased sugar. In such a situation, you should immediately stop consuming sugar. Ignoring these symptoms can increase the risk of diseases. Nature has made the body so capable that it can identify good and bad on its own, provided we should be aware of it.

Constant fatigue and lethargy
If you always feel tired, it could be a sign of eating too much sugar. Sugar gives a quick boost of energy, but after that the body becomes sluggish. This is due to unstable energy levels, which leads to feeling tired and lazy throughout the day.

Excessive sugar intake gets stored as fat in the body, which leads to weight gain. Accumulation of fat especially around the stomach and waist can be a sign of excessive sugar consumption. Dr. Sumit Rawat, in-charge of microbiology at Sagar Medical College, says that this increases the risk of obesity and metabolic problems.

Eating too much sugar increases the insulin level in the body, which can cause hormonal imbalance. This can cause problems like acne, rashes and irritation on the skin. In many cases, excessive sugar can be the cause of skin damage.
