Method
First of all fry dry fruits by adding ghee in a pan. After this fry the vermicelli till it turns brown. Some brands also sell fried vermicelli in the market. Check on the packet. Even if there are fry, then put them in ghee and stir them once or twice and take it out, it will give a good smell. Now pour milk in the pan and boil it. Grind green cardamom and add it. Boil the milk on low flame. If you have condensed milk then you can add it or else boil this milk and thicken it. Add saffron strands to it. Also add vermicelli and dry fruits together. When the vermicelli starts to melt, add powdered sugar. Now let the kheer cook for a while. When the vermicelli melts, switch off the gas, your vermicelli kheer is ready.
