‘Mix Veg Uttapam’ is a South Indian food, which is very tasty to eat. In addition, it is also beneficial for health. This special dish is prepared by mixing different vegetables. This is the reason, this dish is full of nutrients. If you have not tried ‘Mix Veg Uttapam’ till now, then no matter what, you can make it very easily at your home. Apart from breakfast, it can also be eaten as a snack at any time.
To make ‘Mix Veg Uttapam’, first take tomatoes, onions and capsicum and chop them finely and keep them aside in a bowl. After this take semolina and add curd to it and mix the mixture well. After that keep it aside for about half an hour. After the stipulated time, take semolina mixture and add salt and black pepper powder according to taste and beat it well.
Now take a nonstick pan / tava (griddle) and keep it on the gas to heat on medium flame. Put some oil on the pan and spread it all around. Now pour semolina batter from a bowl in the center of the pan and spread it like cheela. Now put chopped onion, tomato and capsicum on it. Let the uttapam cook for a few seconds. After that turn it over and roast it on the other side also with oil. Put some chopped vegetables on this side as well. Roast the uttapam till it turns light golden. After that take it off in a plate. Similarly prepare mixed veg uttapam with all the batter. Serve it with curd or chutney.
