Soren, a Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader, had accused the party leadership of insulting him and announced that he would soon decide on his next political move. It was being speculated that he might join the BJP.
It is worth noting that Champai Soren reached New Delhi on Monday, where he met senior BJP leaders. This was his second visit to Delhi since last Tuesday. During his last visit to Delhi, he had made serious allegations against the party leadership. He also talked about looking for a new option. Later, there were also discussions that he could also form a new party.
