CM Yogi said that be it Congress or Samajwadi Party, their intention was never to develop everyone. He supported everyone, but only developed his family. During his time neither the businessman was safe nor the daughter was safe. CM Yogi further said that this was the reason that the country and the state went backward. He said that today the Modi government and the UP government with double engine have given a new identity to the country and the state with the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.
The stronghold of mafia is now the center of investment
CM Yogi said that 8-9 years ago Etah was considered a stronghold of crime and mafia. The land of the poor was captured, their complaint was not heard. When the property of the citizen is not safe, what will the government do for his welfare? This was the situation then. But today Etah has become a new identity of excellent law and order and investment. He said that 1500 MW electricity is being produced from Jawaharpur Thermal Power Plant at the government level and the Shri Cement family has set up a new plant of Rs 750 crore next to it. With this, 500 people have got direct employment and more than 3000 people have been given indirect employment.
CM Yogi reminds of Congress period
The Chief Minister said that this investment has not only provided direct employment, but thousands of people associated with transport, trade and distribution mediums have also got work opportunities. This is the foundation of self -sufficient India, this is the foundation stone of developed India. Recalling the Congress period, CM Yogi said that there was a time when cement was easily found. CM Yogi said that India was the number-1 economy in the world in the 17th-18th century. It was ranked sixth from 1947 to 1960, but the policies of Congress and Samajwadi Party brought it to 11th position by 2014. He said that the Modi government gave the mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” and today India is the fourth largest economy. CM said that it will be third in the next two years. India’s new glorious face will emerge in front of the world. Yogi said that when his government was formed in 2017, Uttar Pradesh was the seventh largest economy in the country. Today UP has become the second largest economy. This happened when action was taken against the power -nominated goons and mafia, strict steps were taken against the rioters and confidence in investors.
Investment of 45 lakh crores, employment to 60 lakh youth
CM said that UP has so far attracted investment proposals of Rs 45 lakh crore, out of which Rs 15 lakh crore has been implemented on land. This has given employment to 60 lakh youth so far. He said that recently 60,244 youths have been recruited in the police force, including the youth of Etah. Jobs are being provided on the basis of merit, without seeing any face without any discrimination, without seeing any face. Also, 70,000 youth have been provided interest and guarantee free loan and margin money under Mukhyamantri Yuva Yojana so that they can set up their enterprises.
Referring to Operation Sindoor
The Chief Minister said that Shri Cement is not just an industry, but is also fulfilling national responsibilities. The Etah unit has so far provided free cement to 183 martyred families. The contribution of Shri Cement further strengthens this national spirit. He said that after Bulandshahr and Etah, Shri Cement has set up a 40 MW green power plant in Chitrakoot. Modern infrastructure, four-lane connectivity and public welfare schemes will touch the new heights of Etah development.
