I am the leader of the opposition, but I am not being allowed to speak: Rahul Gandhi made a big charge

Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi on Monday alleged that he wanted to speak in the House on the first day of the monsoon session, but he did not get permission, but the Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and other people of the ruling party were given a chance to speak.

After postponing the proceedings of the House till 2 pm, he told reporters in the Parliament complex that he has the right to speak in the Opposition House as a Leader of Opposition, but it is the new attitude of the ruling party that he is not being allowed to speak.

Rahul Gandhi said, “The Defense Minister is allowed to speak in the House, people (of the ruling party) are allowed to speak. People of the opposition are not allowed to speak. I am a leader of opposition, it is my right to speak in the House. I am never allowed to speak. This is a new attitude. ”

The former Congress president said that the issues raising the opposition will be discussed after getting permission. He again reiterated, “The tradition is that if the people of the government say something, we should also get a chance.” I wanted to say two words, but were not allowed. ”

On the first day of the monsoon session of Parliament, members of the opposition parties in the Lok Sabha created a ruckus, demanding discussion on other topics including Pahalgam terror attack and special intensive revision (SIR) exercise of voter list in Bihar, which disrupted the house proceedings.
