During the monsoon session, which lasted a month of Parliament, 12 bills were passed by the Lok Sabha and 14 bills were passed by the Rajya Sabha, which saw frequent disruption, adjournment and outfits.

Except for the discussion on Operation Sindoor in both the houses, the session has done very little work since starting on July 21, as the demand of the opposition first discussed the operation vermilion and then the demand for discussion on special intensive revision exercises in Bihar has been repeatedly disrupted and postponed. The monsoon session is scheduled to end on Thursday.

A government official said, “This time there was a lot of uproar in Parliament and the opposition did not cooperate. Due to this stubborn behavior, the opposition missed out on participating in the discussion on several important bills, which were passed.”

The official said that in the Rajya Sabha, except for the Bill of Lading Bill, 2025, which passed on the first day of the monsoon session without any disturbance, the other bills were passed after some discussion between the noise or only after the outfits of the opposition parties.
