Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday appealed to all the volunteers of the organization to increase friendship among various groups other than caste, creed, region and language.
Participating in a “intellectual” (intellectual) program, Bhagwat said that ‘volunteers’ work as a catalyst for the welfare of society. The RSS said in a statement, “They urged volunteers to increase friendship between different sections of society, irrespective of their caste, creed and region or language.”
The organization’s Sarsanghchalak Bhagwat also said that all Hindus should use the same temple, cremation and water for various uses through mutual respect and cooperation. He insisted that the constant communal harmony between various ethnic groups in the society and goodwill between relatives and clans will lead the nation to a positive direction and result.
The statement also said that Bhagwat insisted that the whole society should take responsibility for water conservation, planting and avoiding plastic utensils to protect the environment. He said, “Every Indian should follow foods, housing, visits and even the languages that match their self-expression. Everyone should follow the mother tongue instead of using foreign languages in their day-to-day activities Should talk in. “
The RSS chief reiterated that citizens should follow traditional social norms, even though all such rules cannot be called law from a legal point of view. Bhagwat reached Guwahati on a six-day visit on Friday, during which he will interact with the members and discuss further strengthening the organization. The journey is a part of his visit from different regions of the country, which coincides with the centenary year of the organization.
