Modi will do 'Pinddan' of Nitish Kumar's politics: Lalu Prasad before PM's visit to Bihar

RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav took a sarcasm at Prime Minister Narendra Modi before his visit to Bihar and said that he (PM) would “Pinddan” Nitish Kumar’s politics in the state.

Sharing a video on X, criticizing PM Modi for alleged “vote theft”, the RJD chief wrote, “Prime Minister Modi is coming to Nitish Kumar’s politics and his party to offer prayers.”

In the video, Lalu Prasad Yadav, along with his “pindadan” sarcasm, demanded action against alleged “vote theft”, crime and unemployment in Bihar.

This is because Gaya is considered sacred in Bihar and this place is popular among Hindus for ‘Pindadan’ for its ancestors.

While Prime Minister Modi will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate several development projects costing about Rs 13,000 crore in Gayaji, Prashant Kishore, the founder of Jan Suraj, said that there is no “profit” of the journey.

Kishore said, “Prime Minister Modi has come to Bihar thrice in the last three-four months. Crores of crores of rupees were spent on every visit of him … How will unemployment end in Bihar? When will the migration from Bihar stop? When the children of Bihar will not have to go to Gujarat for wages? Prime Minister Modi has not said anything on these issues.”

Meanwhile, during the Bihar tour, Prime Minister Modi will flag off two trains and address the public meeting.

According to his commitment to increase the contact, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the 8.15 km-long-Syria bridge project on National Highway-31, including a 1.86 km long 6-lane bridge built on the Ganges river at a cost of more than Rs 1,870 crore. A press release states that it will provide direct contact between Mokama and Begusarai in Patna.

The bridge is built parallel to the old 2-lane dilapidated rail-cum-road bridge “Rajendra Setu”, which is in a bad condition, due to which heavy vehicles have to change their route.

The new bridge will reduce the additional travel distance of over 100 kilometers for heavy vehicles traveling between North Bihar (Begusarai, Supaul, Madhubani, Purnia, Araria, etc.) and South Bihar regions (Sheikhpura, Nawada, Lakhisarai, etc.).
