Bhubaneswar, January 4 (IANS). Odisha’s Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi met Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. In this meeting he made many proposals for the development of the city.
After this, while talking to reporters, she said, “In September 2024, I met Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and requested him to solve four issues and complete four projects. I am happy that I can give this to all of you. Let me tell you that the Chief Minister worked on all those four projects. Today I can say that we have completed all of them. Today I met him along with all my colleagues for the six proposals which are important for my constituency and the state of Odisha. He took. Listened very patiently, and finally said that the government will work on all these six proposals. These proposals included everything from community park to vending zone, to the issue of Ekarjat Mahal land, to the expansion of the road network in Bhubaneswar.”
Then we also talked about Shaheed Nagar Market of Bhubaneswar. More than 500 shopkeepers live in Shaheed Nagar. Manik Sangha had requested us several times that Shaheed Nagar Haat should be looked after by BMC. In 2013, the then Commissioner of BMC had written a letter to the GA department to give 1 acre 20 decimal land so that the area could be developed, but unfortunately the GA department ignored it. I brought this letter to the Chief Minister and requested him to resolve this issue immediately, and he immediately asked the GA department officials to resolve it.”
